Hello! I am a physiotherapist, body worker nerd, movement lover, and "somanaut" (Gil Hedley's term)
Feeling mobile and strong has always been directly connected with the quality of my mental health. I want others to feel the same empowerment to care for their body, and reciprocally, feel cared for by their body. Your body is just another person with a purpose, a desire to fulfill that purpose, and a memory and stories of its own.
I see our bodies as our home, and a loyal teammate, who deserves our attention in the same way any healthy relationship requires effort to stay healthy.

I work with people who:
Feel stuck in their bodies
- Want to find ways to support their body's inherent ability to heal
- Love exercising but don't want to have to depend on that to keep them functional
- Love exercising but haven't been able to due to pain or fatigue and want to get back to it
- Dislike exercise but want to like it
- Have had their questions dismissed in their medical care
- Have experienced physical, emotional, and medical trauma
- Have multiple other co morbidities
- Have been underwhelmed by traditional therapies and physical therapy
Need someone to think outside the box for their symptoms!
I use the skillset of visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, pelvic floor therapy and Functional Manual Therapy to think outside the box by "listening" to the body. These different approaches, in addition to a strong belief that all bodies have the capacity (and desire!) to get better when given the right input. Many of my patients have been told before seeing me there is nothing more to do for them. We have found that not to be the case after a course of treatment with me.
As a health coach, I facilitate motivational interviewing and behavioral awareness to help you identify where your strengths are and how to implement behavior and mindset changes that are frequently a part of the process.
My treatments are not limited to the structure alone. To the body, the sensory experience IS the physical experience. I think outside the box to help you understand what is going on with your body, help you learn to listen to it yourself, and then provide care that helps you - and your body - remember how good it can feel.
